Ramoji Film City, the world's largest integrated film city and India's only
thematic holiday destination,
lets you enter the celluloid world of movies. The sprawling 2000 acre
campus is full of surprises at every turn.

The thrilling rides and experiences at Fundustan - the kid's park are a must try and

The studio complex also features Sahas, Asia's largest adventure land. The equipment
and components deployed here conform to the highest quality and safety specifications. So,

Know before you go

• Rides will operate subject to availability
• One or more rides may be non-operational due to shutdown maintenance
• A valid Indian photo ID is mandatory to gain entry to the park
• Children aged three years and above will need to buy an entry ticket
• Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians at all times
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the park
• Smoking within the park premises is not permitted
• DSLR camera lenses over 18-55 mm are not permitted inside the park

Redemption process

• After the booking is complete, you will receive an email with a booking confirmation                                                           voucher that can also be viewed on the Cleartrip app in the `bookings? section of your profile
• Present the trip ID mentioned in the voucher at the Highway Ticketing counter to                                                                       collect physical tickets
• Receive physical tickets and a barcoded RFID wristband to enter the park

The city opened in 1996. It was conceived and developed by Ramoji Rao, media and film baron, whose film production house Usha Kiron Movies is a major producer of Indian movies.

The city encompasses massive buildings, gardens and other sets suitable for filming movies. Fans of Indian movies will find many locations where scenes from their favourite movies were shot. Inside the city are complete facilities for pre-production, production and post-production work on movies. In addition, there are theme parks, rides and other attractions, opportunities for shopping and dining. There are three hotels inside the city catering to various budgets and travellers can easily spend a weekend or more with their families and not tire of the place.

Get in[edit]

The city is located off the NH9 highway connecting Hyderabad with Vijayawada, just after Hayath Nagar. If you are driving down from Hyderabad, the road is potholed, but motorable. There is adequate signage that will tell you how far Ramoji Film City is, and in any case it is difficult to miss the giant arch on the right announcing the entrance. Once inside, you need to park your car (parking: Rs. 10 for the entire day) and purchase tickets.
